Law of Attraction: 10 Tips for Being Prosperous

A prosperous life doesn’t mean having a lot of money only. If you want to be truly prosperous, you have to transform your mind set in a major way. You have to think about abundance rather than thinking about lack of it. You have to shift a lot of levels higher in all spheres of your life.

The following 10 tips will help you do that:

Tip 1 – Indulge in your passion
When you indulge in things that you are passionate about, you will feel happy and satisfied. When you feel happy, you emit positive vibrations and hence attract things that are of the same frequency as yours. Hence start investing time in things that you really love doing. It could be a hobby now, try to make a living out of it.

Tip 2 - Affirm You Always Have More Than Enough
The more you pay attention to lack of things in your life, the more you will attract it. You can stop this by telling yourself that you have enough of what you need. The more you believe in this, the more you will see the change in the environment surrounding you.

Tip 3 – Act
Though you need not work towards attaining abundance, but doing so wont harm you in any manner. Rather it will be quicken your want for abundance. So don’t just sit around expecting circumstances to change – take control and change them yourself! One small step in the direction you wish may open many opportunities onto you. It could boost your self esteem and give you a sense of control in your life.

Tip 4 – Be thankful and appreciative
If you are appreciative you will always look at the positive aspect of anything. You will feel more abundant and be thankful for the same. Hence never forget to appreciate and be thankful for whatever life has given you. Even small things need to be appreciated. The more you practice this, the more you will attract better things in your life. It will do wonders in your life.

Tip 5 - Love
One of the most powerful and transformational forces is love. It can be a great healer if you are in pain, can bring you abundance and motive you to do things which you have never done earlier. Hence love all those who come into your life. Love your family, friends and even people who are difficult to handle and talk to. Love all your troubles and difficulties. Love will give you the strength to combat any adverse situation.

Tip 6 – Improve your Self-Image
What you believe in will influence a lot on what you experience in your day to day life. If you don’t feel the abundance, you will never be able to attract it. Hence start boosting the image you have about yourself and constantly remind yourself that you deserve all the happiness in this world. Accept every gift with gratitude. The more gratitude you show, the more you will be able to open yourself up to receive whatever the universe has to give you.

Tip 7 – Create Space
If you jam up your life with negative things, there will be no room to store whatever good comes up in your life. Hence, make room for good things to come. Shed the negative inhibitions you have nurtured till now. Shun those painful emotional feelings and forget the issues you have. Purify yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This way you will be open up and create a lot of space for good things to be stored in your life.

Tip 8 - Change Your Beliefs
Apart from poor self esteem, you may be nourishing other kind of negative belief which limit you even further from receiving any prosperity. This could be your belief that you have to toil hard to get money or that rich people are haughty and unhelpful or you may feel that a lot of wealth is a burden. Hence examine each of your beliefs and eliminate the one which limit you. This is a process you should never stop doing. Examine your beliefs at every point in life.

Tip 9 - Observe The Abundance You Have Around You
Whatever you focus on grows. This is true even for prosperity. Hence always seek abundance wherever you go. While you shop, notice the abundance of the merchandise around you. Each of such product was someone’s idea, which has now become so abundant. Go to the vegetable market and observe the abundance there. Each vegetable was nothing but a seed planted which grew to its present form. Find out time to observe the abundance you have around you and you will definitely attract more of it.

Tip 10 – Be Positive
If you are positive, the thoughts you have are positive and emotions you will are positive, then for sure you will attract positive conditions into your life. If you want to be prosperous, this is a way that will work for sure. Negative thinking is a tendency to focus on the negative aspects of life. But even that is an opportunity in disguise. The more you condition your mind to look for opportunities, the more positive you will become, thereby attracting more of positive things into your life. Hence start becoming positive right now. This will surely bring a drastic change in things you experience on a daily basis.

There are other ways to become rich, but the above tips are the simplest you could begin with.

Shades Of LovE

"Love in the heart was not meant there to stay. Love is not love till you give it away". For love to be ever lasting and eternal every one should be aware of the different stages of love and know its significance. Following are the different phases through which you will travel in your love life and only those who pass it will have an endless love.


Attraction can be defined as something, which is more than friendship and is a step towards getting ready for a relationship. Now attraction is of two types:


Physical Attraction - happens when your body reacts to another person. Heart rate increases; temperature rises, palms get sweaty; stomach flutters; throat tightens; etc. This is what will tell you that you are ready for the first contact and also whether you are comfortable in the company of the other person.

Emotional Attraction - develops next if the circumstances are right. After being drawn to a person physically, you then begin to come closer. If you find you have things in common -- hobbies, ideologies, career, education, or some other common ground -- then an emotional attraction starts to form. Sometimes an emotional attraction can occur even when a physical attraction does not. And in this case, the bond will be stronger between the two who connect, since no preconceived notions based on physical appearance has occurred.

INTIMACY Intimacy is something, which a person experiences when you learn to trust and believe your lover. It is a close association with another person of the deepest nature. You share you thoughts, feelings, and dreams. You feel free to discuss everything with this person and you are absolutely comfortable in his company. Thus intimacy develops gradually. If you can't establish intimacy with your partner, your relationship may work for a while, but is unlikely to endure throughout the years. Intimacy is actually the path to a true, healthy and beautiful relationship.

ROMANCE Romance is the essence of a relationship. Without romance your love life will not exist. Romance is the true identity of your love. It brings out your true self and helps you be a better lover, husband and partner. Romance is a celebration of the life you live as part of a couple. It springs naturally and originates from within your heart. It makes you do things that you possibly couldn't have imagined to do otherwise. It shows you who you are and reminds you of the role you play in a relationship. Romance is not responsibility but it is caring about your responsibilities towards your lover and partner. Romance is the appreciation of two people who are celebrating the lucky coincidence that they found each other.

PASSION The third stage is passion, which basically means a desire for another person, which has grown to an intensity that can't be ignored. This is often where an emotional relationship turns into a physical relationship. The passion stage is very important. For from here you will understand the true meaning and nature of your relationship. If there is no passion then its best to let go but if there is passion in your relationship then it is time to go on to the next stage.

COMMITMENT The last stage is commitment. This is when you know that you want to spend your whole life with this person you love and you can do anything for him. It is when your whole world just revolves round your lover and you take a pledge to remain true to your mate throughout good and bad times, be by his side whenever he needs you.

How To Build Your Self Confidence



One of the most important steps to achieving your goals in life is to develop a strong sense of self confidence. This does not however involve becoming loud or arrogant. On the contrary, people with genuine self confidence are usually calm and self assured and do not need to 'big note' themselves.

Here are my top ten tips for building your self confidence:




1. Visualise Yourself As The Person You Want To Be


Each morning spend a few minutes visualising yourself as the person you want to be. Think about the way you dress, the way you carry yourself and the way you interact with other people. Seeing yourself as the person you want to become is the first step towards building self confidence.



2. Self Confidence Statement

After visualising yourself as the person you want to be, read the following statement out loud:

"I know I have the ability to achieve my major goal in life. Therefore today,
I demand of myself persistent and continuous action towards achieving my goal"

Reading this statement out loud is a great way to start your day in a confident state of mind.


3. Dress Well

One of the most effective ways to instantly improve your level of self confidence is to dress well and to make the decision to always be well groomed. This does not mean you have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. Instead, just focus on gradually building up a small collection of good quality clothes. Also remember that simple accessories such as a tie clip or necklace can make a big difference to the way you look and feel.



4. Positive Posture

Another powerful way to build your sense of self confidence is to stand up straight and lose the slouch that many of us have acquired over the years. While you may be able to make a change to your posture by simply becoming aware of it, the best way to make a long lasting change to your posture is to practice yoga or pilates.



5. Move With Purpose

A simple but effective tip for increasing your levels of self confidence is to always move with a sense of purpose. In his book 'The Magic of Thinking Big', David Schwartz recommends walking 25% faster than normal. Having a spring in your step lets people know that you have important things to do and actually makes you feel more confident as you go about your daily business.



6. Become A Participant

Have you ever noticed that in most meetings or groups, people immediately head towards the back of the room so that they can remain as inconspicuous as possible? A great way to increase your visibility and sense of self confidence is to make the decision to always sit towards the front of the room and be a participant. When you have something to say - don't be afraid to say it.



7. Connect With Confidence

Another way to quickly improve your self confidence is to practice making a strong first impression. When you meet someone face-to-face, look them directly in the eye, smile broadly, shake hands firmly and say, "Hi Jim, nice to meet you".

Similarly, you can sound more confident on the phone by answering, "Good morning Carol Jones speaking" instead of simply saying "Hello"



8. Build Your Success File

Occasionally your self confidence will take a hit when something doesn't work out the way you hoped. One of the best ways to repair your self confidence in this situation is to keep a folder outlining your past achievements and successes. You should also include any positive feedback that you've received from others.

As you review your success file and fill your mind with positive comments, your doubts and insecurities will quickly disappear and your self confidence will be restored.



9. Preparation

The BIG secret to being self confident that people rarely talk about is - preparation. The more you prepare and practice for an event, the more self confident you will become.

If you are worried about an upcoming event, use your apprehension as a stimulus to take action and practice, practice, practice. The simple but powerful truth is that self confidence grows through repetition and experience.



10. Toastmasters

My final tip for developing self confidence is to join a Toastmasters group.

Toastmasters is a non-profit organisation that helps people from all walks of life to develop their public speaking and leadership skills. In my experience Toastmasters offers a safe and relaxed environment to step out of your comfort zone and develop the invaluable skills of being able to think on your feet and speak in public.
